I last updated this site on 7.24.08 and since then, much has happened,
much of it good and fitting but, sadly, much remains the same.
While I rejoiced in Barack Obama's electoral victory from the
standpoint of a statement on racial progress in America (and no, we are
anything but "post-racial"), I was unable to vote for his predictable
corporate Democratic Party agenda, prefering instead Ralph Nader's
truly progressive platform.
As I write this, the Obama Administration continues to debate and
waffle over the correct course regarding the criminal has-beens who've
recently been ejected from the White House and other Washington, D.C.
offices. What's to debate? I cannot imagine.
The crimes, and the law, are both clearly evident.
As what I expect to be my last entry on this site (which I'll leave up
until the current lease expires for those of you who've chosen to visit
it), I leave you this:
I wish you all the best of luck...
It's been quite some time since I updated anything on this site and,
since then, some things have changed, others haven't.
Icreated this site in October 2006
(see below the line) in anticipation of a massive Democratic Party win
in November
leading, quite promptly, to impeachment hearings by Rep. Conyers'
Committee on the House Judiciary and, all things working justly, an
impeachment of the Bushevik administration accompanied by paralysis of
their political and geo-political machinations as the impeachment
progressed.
As I write now (July 24, 2008) it's obvious none of that's come to
pass. In fact, I've just turned off the TV after watching the
first House Judiciary hearing on 'governmental wrongdoing' and I doubt
much'll happen in the future.
So, what use is this website to you?
First, let me say that Joden & Mikael at Impeach for
Peace.org (Minneapolis) have done a fantastic job of keeping
the main site updated (with the aid of others posting, myself [as
'Marshalldoc'] included) and I urge you to visit it here
for the latest on impeachment news, proceedings, editorials, and
activities.
If this is your first visit to my site, welcome. If you've
been here before, welcome back and I hope that it provides you an
educational and somewhat entertaining visit.
BTW: I no longer monitor the site's e-mail (other
than to delete the accumulated spam). Sadly, what I'd
iniitially hoped would become a focus of local activism, protest, and
solidarity against the Bushevik regime... didn't. I handed
out > 500 impeachment flyers during the 6 months I actively
picketed various venues in Marshall to people who overwhelmingly
thanked me and voiced their support (some even stopping their cars in
traffic to get out and shake my hand or give me a hug). Those
who disagreed usually declined a handout. Despite this
seeming interest, no activity was ever generated. So, here's
the
site... hope it's helpful.
Ft. Worth, Texas - Sept. 1, 2007
Washington, D.C. - Sept. 15, 2007
This concludes the 7.24.08 update.
Why Am
I Doing This?
I
decided to create this web page when I found many people
were
responding positively to my solitary protest marches
around the courthouse square, down-
town, and at Wiley College. My first "walk-
about' was galvanized by mailings from
"The World Can't Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime.org" for the national
anti-
war and anti-Bush regime protest on Oct 5th. I had come to
the realization that only direct community action was likely to effect
any change in view of my
(our) Congressional Representative, Louie
Gohmert’s, utter commitment to the Bush White House and its
worldview.
I was gratified by the number of very supportive
responses I received and pleasantly surprised at how little overt
hostility I
encountered. I was even interviewed by the Marshall
News Messenger (see reproduced article)!
I'd
only considered marching the day of the national protest but, as the
news regarding a possible attack on Iran became more grim, the Military
Commissions Act of 2006 was passed, and the realization that the
President would be in office, as Commander-in-Chief, for another two
years, regardless of the results of the November midterm elections,
settled on me I realized that I'd better keep on speaking out while it
was still legal (or before I was accused of "providing material support
for terrorism" and spirited away). Happily that hasn’t
happened
(yet) but, as I've continued my protests I became aware that I might be
able to reach more folks with a website that I might also publicize
during my ongoing 'walk-abouts'.
Impeach
for Peace, in Minneapolis, had sent an e-mail via the
"World Can't Wait" list serve regarding the “Impeach for
Peace” website & petition and one thing led to
another.
This
then, is a more extensive discussion of the things I don't have
the time to talk about when I press a handout into your
hand
and we both hurry on our ways. I hope you'll take the time to
read and
consider
what I've put forth here, explore some of the sites I've linked to, and
when you've finished I hope you too will feel the need to submit a
"memorial" requesting the impeachment of George W. Bush for so many
very wrong actions. You never know, your's may be the final
straw needed to effect real change!
Please feel free to
e-mail any comments, kind or otherwise, to me using the "contact us"
link at the bottom of each page. I will gladly respond to any
serious questions.

is no expressed grant of habeas in the Constitution; there’s

doesn’t say every individual in the United States or citizen

PEOPLE SPELL OUT "IMPEACH!" IN PELOSI'S DISTRICT
January
6, 2007 - Over
1000 people
gathered in Nancy Pelosi's district, on Ocean Beach in San Francisco,
to spell out the message "IMPEACH!" "America is a great country," said
event organizer Brad Newsham, a local cab driver and author. "But
President Bush has betrayed our faith. He mislead us into a disastrous
war, and is trampling on our Constitution. He has to go. Now. I hope
Nancy Pelosi is listening today." A majority of Americans share
Newsham's sentiments. A 2006
Zogby poll found that 52% of Americans agreed with the statement: "If
President Bush wiretapped American citizens without the approval of a
judge, do you agree or disagree that Congress should
consider holding
him accountable through impeachment?"
